Precision Therapeutics Inc (Precision) is a leader in the development of decision support tools and services that provide physicians with additional information for the treatment of cancer patients. Our mission is to improve the treatment outcomes for patients living with cancer through technology that, combined with other information, enables physicians to make more individualized choices about therapy.

Precision was founded to address the unique treatment needs of each patient
Patients with the same tumor histology do not always respond to the same chemotherapy, schedule, or dose. In addition, the growing number of therapeutic options /combinations, dose rates and treatment schedules are additional variables that create a challenge for cancer specialists in determining the best course of therapy for each patient. With this in mind, a group of scientists established Precision in 1995, with the sole aim of developing and delivering technology that could help a physician select the appropriate chemotherapy for an individual patient.

Precision is a leading force in cell culture research and continues to investigate methods that will facilitate the effective delivery of individualized cancer therapy.

Precision is committed to high-integrity research into the development of individualized cancer treatment support tools and services. Clinical studies support the potential patient benefit of the ChemoFx assay. Precision has commissioned and funded multiple clinical research programs in partnership with leading medical research institutes. These investigations will further refine and enhance the predictive insight of the ChemoFx assay for a number of different tumor types.

Precision's Laboratories
Precision's scientific staff has extensive experience in clinical testing and cancer research and provides services to physicians and pharmaceutical companies throughout the United States and Canada from our headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Precision's laboratories are fully equipped to perform tissue culture-based analysis. Our laboratories have been certified to comply with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) program, and licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
